At the English Premier Spring Show & Sale held on Saturday 12th March 2016 at Newark Livestock Market:
Michael Read’s Junior & Reserve Supreme Champion Lincoln Red Bull, Hemingby Jaguar from Horncastle, Lincolnshire, was highest priced Bull selling for 6,500 guineas to Richard & Natasha Mann’s Yarnhill  Herd, Woodbridge in Suffolk; sired by Tapus Nova Scotia out of Hemingby Connie L519.  Nick Barton’s Highbarn Thunderbolt, from Macclesfield, Cheshire;  sired by Highbarn Percy out of Highbarn Ruth R139 sold to 3,000 guineas to Society’s President, Graham Parkinson, Donington-on-Bain in Lincolnshire.  Two of Andrew Mylius’ St. Fort Lincoln Red Bulls from Fife, Scotland, sold for 2,000 guineas each: St. Fort Target sired by St. Fort Pole Star (ET) out of St. Fort Elspeth G371, sold to Mr Thurlby’s Tallington Herd, Bourne in Lincolnshire & St. Fort Texas sired by 2012 Spring Show & Sale record breaking (18,000...
